Northern lights

Northern Lights are bright, flowing lights that collide between electrically charged particles from the sun entering the earth's atmosphere. These lights can be seen above the magnetic poles of the northern and southern hemispheres. They are called the Aurora Borealis in the north, and Aurora Australis in the south.

Iceland is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights.  During winter, late Sept.-April, we offer tours to see the Northern Lights.  Conditions have to be right: a cold and clear sky.

Duration: 3-4  hours depending on visibility
Season: September-April
Departure: Daily at 21:00-22:00 from your hotel

Prices vary depending on group size and/or tour choices. Contact us for details.
