The Geysir Hot Springs: One of the greatest, natural attractions in Iceland. The entire area sits atop a vast, geothermal field. The area is dotted with bubbling, multicoloured mud pools and springs.
Gullfoss Falls: Water thunders over a 32-meter (105-feet) drop into a narrow canyon 70m (192 ft.) deep. As spectacular in summer as in winter when it freezes. Kerid; explosive-crater. Part of a group of volcanic hills, Kerið is an enormous explosive-crater created nearly 3000 years old that is now partly filled with water. |
