An interesting port call offering visitors a somewhat different kind of shore experience. The town’s image as the “Elf capital of Iceland,” and the expertly carved wooden splendour of the Viking village Fjörukráin, offer up some fun and colourful photographic opportunities.
Shuttle services are normally run into the town centre as some of the berths can be located quite a distance away from the main action. (Take note as this could potentially affect access for the physically challenged guest.)
Shore excursions from this port are the same as those offered from Reykjavik. Timings will vary accordingly.
